Previous to that, she ministered in the schools of the Diocese as a teacher at Holy Trinity, Greenfield and Blessed Sacrament, Holyoke; as both teacher and later principal at St. Joseph High School, North Adams; principal at St. Joseph High School, Pittsfield, and as principal at Our Lady of Hope School, Springfield. and Carol Farr Chalifoux of Indiana. Sister Richard Maria Allen (Beatrice M. Allen), 89, beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph for 70 years, died at Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke, Mass. Sister Margaret Henry entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rutland in 1951 from St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in West Rutland. She also served in the Diocesan Schools Office of Communication. Sister is predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Sister Dorothy Santarpia (Marie Francois), Sister Veronica Brown (Sister Maurice Joseph), Sister Anne Marie Cecile Poitras (Sr. Francis Regis), Sister Mary Dominica Gallagher (Catherine), Sister Mary Anne Nolan (Christopher John), Sister Stella Marie Burke (Sister Saint Gregory), Sister Catherine Van Houten (Richard Anne), Sr. Elizabeth Marie Morrissey (Ruth Frances), Sister Cecile Lafond (formerly known as Sister St. Veronique), Sister Gertrude Anna Clark (Marguerita Maria), Sister Mary Fidelis McLee (Margaret Elizabeth), Sister Alicia Maria (Elizabeth) Fairfield, Sister Richard Francis Doran, (Josephine C.), Sister Mary Ann Corley, (Margaret Joseph), Sister Margaret James McGrath, (Marguerite), Sister Richard Maria Allen (Beatrice M. Allen).
